I was bored tonight and went over to baseball reference and have decided to narrow it down to the 1941 season in which Williams hit .406, drove in 120 runs, hit 37 homers, pounded out over 180 hits, scored 135 runs, and had an on base percentage of .553. The other season I looked at closely was the season Bonds put up in 2001 Bonds hit .328, drove in 137 runs, scored 129 runs, hit 73 homers, was able to produce 156 hits, had an on base percentage of .516 and had a unreal slugging percentage of .863.

Personally I think Willimas season was better and more productive he made less outs and despite not having the home run numbers he was able to drive in similar runs, scored 6 more runs, and had an higher on base percentage.
